Dual Stage Blending Technology

Dual Stage Blending is Ninja’s patent pending gear system which offers high torque Total Crushing technology AND high speed cyclonic blending in one jar to crush down ingredients and then liquefy them. The unique technology allows the two sets of blades to rotate at different speeds in order to first crush the larger ingredients and then quickly liquefy the small chunks. Total Crushing blades pulverize and crush through ice, whole fruits and vegetables in seconds. High speed cyclonic blades then puree the ingredients into a smooth, grit-free consistency.

I had been researching juicers, thinking about being healthier when I realized how insane it was to throw out all that fiber. So decided on a super blender. I did a TON of research and read many reviews. What sold me on this product was a u-tube review comparing the Vita Blend (the holy grail of blenders) to this Ninja. The reviewer is a vitablend worshiper and even she admitted this was an awesome blender… and over $300 less expensive.

Makes perfect smoothies, if used correctly.

It makes perfect smoothies for me; even though, some do complain about the smoothies not being smooth. In my testing I learned it’s because blending is not occurring long enough and/or the upper blade assembly is not being used.

First of all, this is the most expensive blender I’ve ever purchased. I waited several months before pulling the trigger because I was hoping to get a discount during Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2014. Sadly, I didn’t get lucky and finally purchased it in January 2015.

All in all, I love it! it’s not perfect, but what is these days. I highly recommend it!

I spent hours and hours looking online for a blender that I liked, and the same for a food processor. I mostly bought this for it’s ability as a bender, but I probably use the food processor more often than the blender these days. Oh man… this thing is incredible! I read and watched tons of comparisons with this vs other blenders, and while there was one other brand that is probably built better, it’s more than twice the price. I don’t need to spend that kind of money on a blender. Plus, the fact that this comes with the food processor in addition is awesome. I thought the plastic blender container would bother me at first, but it’s not been an issue at all.

OK, should have bought this first

Anyone want a Magic Bullet & Nutri Bullet for cheap? Check my craigslist. Seriously, I had moaned about this and/or a Vitamix, that I wasted money on the other stuff. They looked OK, but this thing is monstrous! Yes, the first thing I did was pulverize ice. Why? Because it can. Yes, just like the commercial, it obliterate ice cubes. Now, I didn’t drink all the Kool-Aid, does it better than a Vitamix? Don’t know, the infomercial has them at different settings (look closely, they do skew it towards themselves), but it is a 1/3 of the price. So, that puts a plus in their favor. Next was a smoothie and a milk shake. Both fabulous. The only thing I can note (have only had it for 4 hours) is that you better make sure the “easy pour spout” is completely sealed. Better yet, put a paper towel over it when you blend. It whipped it so fast, it was leaking, and no, it wasn’t over filled. It is just that powerful. Only time will tell if it holds up, but so far it is way better than the little toy ones. Tomorrow will be the individual cup test. Already I know it will be fine. You can’t go wrong with metal on metal. Not that plastic/rubber connection nonsense of the other ones.

Love this Ninja!!

So was tired of paying $5 a piece for a fruit/veggie smoothie and started pricing out blenders. I searched online and YouTube and found the Ninja. I was very excited especially after pricing other products like Vmix at 3 times more. Everything was in the box as advertised. The upper blades really make a difference by cutting up the larger fruit/vegetables pieces at the top and moving them down to the lower blades. Absolutely no need to push down with a spoon or other utensils like it’s competitor.

Much more than a blender

Wow this is much more than a blender. I’ve never had a blender that grinds Fruit, Veggies, ice so thoroughly. It’s pretty amazing. When I first got it, I was taken by how big it was. As a guy, I love something that looks like it could blend up my kitchen table! Warning: when I turn it on, it sounds like it could blend up my kitchen table too. I love how solid everything feels on it. When you lock the blender on, it feels really solid. Same for the cups. I had a bullet before and we wore the bullet out. Problem with the bullet was that the gears that connect the cup to the motor always wore out. Not true for the Ninja because it uses metal gears. So far, I’ve used this to make smoothies, slushies, soups, purees and I’ve only had it two weeks. I’ve been wanting a Ninja for a while and this Christmas I took the plunge and just bought it. I looked at the BL-642 – Nutri Ninja® Blender DUO with Auto-iQ™. It’s all push button, and it’s also 1500 watts. If you look at the higher end blenders, they always have analog nobs. I settled on this one and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Has surpassed our expectations

I love this system. We’ve used it consistently for about 5 months now and have had no issues with it. We make smoothies, use it to dice veggies, peppers, and what not, make drinks, mix dough, etc. This has not failed us or failed to live up to the high standards we expected when we purchased it. The food processing function is great, but is also the only one very minor issue for me… the tube used to insert and guide the item you want to slice down to the blade is very narrow, so if you have a larger cucumber or carrot you may have to trim it down.
