Just how powerful is the Power Pro Wide-Mouth Food Processor? So powerful, that we had to design special heavy-duty suction cup feet to keep it in place while it slices, chops, shreds, grates and purees whole apples, potatoes, cucumbers, onions, blocks of cheese or any other whole foods with ease. With a fierce, 500-watt motor and tons of torque working in concert under its sleek and sturdy exterior, this is one heavy-duty piece of machinery that performs as great as it looks.

We’ve been looking for a food processor for some time now. We really like the Cuisinart brand but didn’t want to remortgage the house just to buy one. If I was food processing everyday maybe but we just needed something to do some chopping and shredding from time to time. We also wanted the stainless steel look. Throw all that into the Amazon search engine and it spits out this food processor. We’re really happy with it so far. I can’t comment much on durability because we’ve only used it a few times.

My wife is really hard on kitchen appliances. I bought this to replace a previous one she had somehow gotten the plastic lid stuck in a way it could not come off. It was just cheaper to buy a new one from Amazon and have a back-up motor for when she kills that too. She uses it a lot and it is still going, so that should say something. She cooks all meals at our home, so I give this a good review for holding up under severe punishment.

great for the price

After a little over two years of near-daily use, my mishandling of the bowl led to a serious crack. I see that a replacement of just this piece is running for 29 dollars right now (not counting shipping). So it’s (sadly) more worthwhile to just buy a whole new food processor for a few dollars more. No regrets: this was a great workhorse, will happily buy another Black & Decker.

Very good and my oldest Daughter uses it a lot. But my question is: was there a Blender with the Food Proccesor? Cause my Daughter didn’t see it along with it.

Fantastic machine.

This is a really great little food processor. We’ve used it for mostly basic tasks, such as dip-making with a dash of vegetable slicing. It’s got a lot of power behind it, handling hummus and guacamole with ease. All the components are fairly sturdy and seem like they’ll hold up to fairly frequent use well.
